United Marketing and Services Company (UMS) is one of the Daughter companies of Al Ahleia
Insurance Group (AIG). It was established in the year 1998 as a General Trading Company
with emphasis on importing and distributing new technology that will improve and maximize
the efficient use of our natural resources in the construction and land development
industry and above all to make this industry more friendly to the environment.
With this vision in mind UMS has embarked towards this quest by importing and distributing
goods, materials, instruments and equipment that will fulfill this goal. In addition
it started manufacturing locally alternative materials used in the construction
industry that will be more efficient and of better quality.
More important in order to achieve its goals UMS have recruited competent staff and has
invested enormously in training them to make such a goal worthy and sustainable.
UMS is also pioneering the introduction of modern and efficient management and maintenance
of large real estate project to provide comfortable and environmentally sound use of these facilities.
2- Current Projects And Activities:
A - Geothermal Heating & Air-Conditioning.
Geothermal exchange systems are widely used worldwide to provide clean renewable energy
for heating, cooling and hot air for domestic use.
The basic concept of such systems is to utilize and transfer the energy stored in the
earth or earth groundwater as it heat source or heat sink depending on the mode
of operation of the heat pump.
The main advantage of such systems is the reduction of the operation cost compared to
conventional electric or fuel systems and also to benefit the environment by reducing the
emission produced by conventional systems, both of which are part of our company mission.
To introduce this technology to the region UMS has entered into agreement with Water Furnace
Company of Indiana, USA one of the leading companies in this field by which UMS will be
the exclusive dealer and representative for their products in the Middle East, North Africa
and other countries in Asia.
B- Arab Marble Factory.
UMS has commenced the erection of its manufacturing plant to produce the artificial
stone and marble.
Natural stones and marble are of high demand in the construction industry in the Gaza
Strip but are at unaffordable prices.
Our new product which have been tested extensively in the United Arab Emirates and other
regions in the Gulf Area has proven its viability and extensive use in the building industry.
It has also withstood every test for its solidity, nice artistic shape and above all for
its affordable price as a replacement to the highly demanded natural stones.
Our staff is currently under training in one of or partner company plants in Al-Ein City
in the United Arab Emirates.
Production is expected to start within the next three months and orders for these products
have been made by some of the largest developers in the Gaza Area.
